I am giving this book 5 Stars. This is absolutely a must read for women, and also, for us men because of the subject matter that is explained so eloquently by Dr. Scott. From the start of the book with the synonyms to fabulous, to 21. Hang up your Superwoman cape, to 34. Slow Down. Stop. Be Still, I think there are so many important nuggets here for women to work with from different angles of their lives. Men, this can only help our cause to gain knowledge of our women and what they may be facing as they try to nurture us. Dr. Scott, thank you for this important tool for all women from all walks of life. And, thanks for mentioning things that we men are sometimes too ego driven to bring up. Great Job!

This book, from beginning to end, is AMAZING! The talents and wisdom of Dr. Yvette certainly shine through page after page, allowing each turn of the page to do what a GREAT guidebook should...motivate to action! The "Journey Journal" in the back is a perfect way to allow personal notes to measure achievement. I LOVE that the chapters, or lessons, are brief and have re-read several many times yet always seem to find a fabulous new gem worth meditating on. My absolute favorites, after forcing myself to choose, are #1 (Go to bed) #15 (Turn the battlefield of your mind into an oasis) and #37 (Don't take yourself so seriously). I guarantee you, your mother, aunt, sister or wife will not be disappointed! More than worth the cost. Thank you Doctor Yvette, I am looking forward to your future publications!!

I must admit, I was a little skeptical about reading 40 & Fabulous, but only because I was told that it was for women only. One day, as I was waiting to have my car serviced, I decided to be brave and read it anyway. What I learned that day was that this is a "Fabulous" book with something for everyone...not just women. Even though reaching forty and beyond is a great milestone, some of us have a little trouble accepting, or adjusting to the fact that we are indeed maturing. Dr. Scott does a wonderful job of addressing such fears. I must say, it has opened my eyes. And even though it’s supposed to be for women only, I recommend it to the guys as well because there are many topics that we all can relate to and learn from.
